It's finally Friday, but have you ever had a week so stressful, so demanding that your body feels like it's vibrating and just will not shut off? Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. Whenever a busy day gets me like this, there's usually one ritual that helps or at least takes the edge off. I start by throwing my bed blank in the dryer, which I'll explain in a minute while it's warming up. I'll usually make a small snack if I'm feeling peckish. I make sure to hydrate, put uncomfortable clothes, put my phone on silent. Once my blanket's ready, I grab it and rush straight back into my room before it loses its heat. I switch off all the lights and dive under it. When it's cold outside and the windows are open, it just hits perfectly. Most nights I knock out, but if I'm still too wired, I'll read a book until I drift off. But this, this is my highlight of the week.
