and start focusing on being really present in my body, letting the rest of the thoughts start melting away. Number two is the Cobra stretch. This is great for getting a stretch in the abs. I like to breathe deeply and try to empty my mind of everything but how my body is feeling. Number three is child's pose. This gives a great stretch in the back, chest and arms. Staying focused on grounding myself in my body, feeling more calm as a focus on that connection to the floor. Remember, big, deep breaths out. Number four is the doorway, peck stretch. I know a lot of you love doing pushups bench press, but you gotta balance that out with proper stretching too. As I open up my chest, I like to visualize all the stress from the day leaving out the door too. Remember to take deep breaths. Finally, number five is a lying leg stretch. This is a great way to end your mini stretch session, feeling more centered and relaxed. I take a minute here to check with myself and set a positive intention for the next day. I like to stretch around nighttime. It helps me relieve stress after a long day, and it helps me feel more relaxed. I always get better sleep on the nights that I stretch versus the nights that I don't stretch. Doing the stretching routine every day has really helped me notice a difference both physically and mentally.
