A moment for me to slow down with myself. Being near water lowers my stress and helps my body relax. Even just watching it flow. The sound of water quiets my overthinking. I don't need company to feel calm, just a spot that lets me breathe. Sometimes I bring a book, sometimes I paint what I see. Other days, I just write a few thoughts down, no plans, no pressure, just a moment to bring me back to myself. When I can't get outside, I recreate this in my room with ambient sounds. This is my way of showing love to my mind.
