brain is moving so too fast, and I forget to be present in my own life. There's been days where I've been overwhelmed or overthinking for no reason at all, or I just feel off, and I used to think I would have to power through it. What I learned is I actually needed to zill. And for me, zilling isn't a huge life reset. It's seriously just little habits you get into of healthy coping skills. For me, I love going on mindful walks and distracting myself from things on my phone. I also love working out and focusing on my body instead of my mind. Journaling, getting my thoughts out on paper instead of stuffed in my head. Sitting at the beach and just listening to the waves, that's probably my favorite. Laughing with my friends, hanging out with them, spending time with animals, and honestly, getting a little sweet treat. And again, zilling doesn't erase what's going on in your life, but it just helps me take care of my mind even when there's stuff going on. So today, either in between classes, while you're scrolling, or if your brain has been feeling a little heavy lately, find one small thing that helps you breathe a little deeper, and that's how you zill. Because taking care of your mind doesn't have to be a huge lot of work. Sometimes it's just a walk or journaling, and just a little bit of grace for yourself. Anyways, I hope everyone has an amazing day. Love y'all.
