I always hear people say, you should ask for help, but I never really knew what that looked like. And for me, it hit during this week where everything piled up. I remember I had multiple projects due. I was barely sleeping, and someone I cared about wasn't doing great. And it made me feel helpless and overwhelmed, and it just got harder to relax. And that was the moment that I realized like I wasn't okay. And so I noticed all of this stress and tension, and I decided to make that small reach outward. I, I texted a friend like, Hey, can we talk? And honestly, I hesitated at first because I didn't want to feel weak or, or like, I was dumping a lot on someone and they couldn't chat right away, but offered to grab a coffee the next day and we ended up hanging out and they listened to me without judgment. And I remember talking through my situation helped more than I expected. I realized people actually want to be there for you, and letting them in can make a real difference. So start small with one text and one person you can trust.
